Important Notes

Each of our tours begins with a 30-minute orientation session in the plaza and park next to our office. We will practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Paris. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 12 and older. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.

All guests must sign a damage waiver and a damage deposit in the amount of 400 Euros is payable on the day of the tour when you check in. The deposit is fully refunded at the conclusion of the tour if the Segway is returned undamaged. Credit cards are accepted for the damage deposit. Damage deposit credit card charges are immediately cancelled at the end of the tour and will not appear on your statement if the Segway is returned undamaged.

Insurance requires everyone to complete a liability waiver (those under 18 must have an adult sign for them on the day of the tour).

FAQ

What is a Segway?
The Segway- Human Transporter is the first of its kind - a self-balancing, personal transportation device designed to go anywhere people do. Easy to use and operate, the two-wheeled Segway sports high-tech gyroscopes that automatically respond to your body's movements, "sensing" when it should speed up and slow down.

You stand on a small platform between left and right wheels as you hold onto handlebars at a comfortable waist height. The Segway handles the balancing for you, so that you're always upright as you glide through any environment.

Are the tours cancelled in case of rain?
No, our tours run rain or shine. We have ponchos available for anyone that needs them and the Segways themselves run just fine in all weather.

Do we go inside the museums and monuments?
Unfortunately we cannot enter the monuments because French law prohibits anyone except an actual employee of, for example, the Louvre from leading you inside the museum. Besides, there's always some people that want 10 minutes in the Louvre and others that want 3 hours. We're here to Segway and enjoy the city so that's what we're going to do!

How far in advance do I need to reserve?
Although it is rare, we suggest you reserve as far ahead of time as possible. We tend to fill all of our tours.

Are Segways safe for children or people with disabilities?
Although riding a Segway is relatively easy to do and learn, we do require that all riders be at least 12 years of age.

Rates are per person and in US funds. Reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-317-1530.
