Wine Pass Tasting in Paris
Introduction to French Wine Tasting
Do you like to drink wine but don’t know really anything about it? In just one hour, a Paris Sommelier will teach you the basics of wine. You’ll be comfortably seated in a trendy tasting room. All you’ll have to do is sit back and savor the flavors.
This tour will introduce you to the pleasures of French wine and teach you wine tasting techniques that will even impress your friends! Three wines, carefully selected for quality will be served – always with generosity. In just one hour, you will learn a lot and will get to taste good wines. The wines you try are available for sale after the tasting.
And should you still be thirsty, you are welcomed to stay and chill at the wine bar after your tasting: 40 wines to try by the glass daily. Also, should you want to come have lunch before your tasting, it is also a possibility. A delicious lunch menu with soup, salad, and more is prepared by Chef Tiffany Depardieu.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your policy with children and teenagers? -- Children must be age 16 to drink wine in France. Children under 16 may drink if accompanied by their parents who allow them to do so. It is a good education and a good story for them to tell when they get back home! Children under the age of 5 are not permitted on the tour. They will have difficulties being seated quietly during the tasting. If your children are very well behaved, then they are welcome to tag along for free. Their wine glasses will be kept full - with WATER!
I don't know anything about wine, should I attend? -- Yes! The wine tasting is fun and educational because it is designed to inform and entertain everyone, no matter what knowledge of wine each person has.
Are your tastings in English? -- Yes. The tastings are - by default - in English. However, you may request another language in advance: French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, German, Portuguese.
Which wines will we taste? -- Good ones. All of the selections of wines are remarkable. The selection should help you learn more about French wine, and discover what you really like and why. A list of tasted wines is handed out during the tasting.
How many people will there at the tasting? -- It varies a lot. Sometimes 2 or 3 people, sometimes 15 or 20. The more the merrier! The tastings are a great opportunity to meet new people and to exchange travel experience.
Can I buy wine at the tasting? -- Yes. Guests usually love the wines, and many wish to take some home with them. Your wine can also be delivered to your hotel reception at your convenience. Yet, there is absolutely no obligation or pressure to buy wine!
Can I request specific wine at the tasting? -- Maybe! Just let your Sommelier know which type of wine you'd like to taste, and they will do their best to come up with something you'll love.
Do I need to bring anything to the tasting? -- No. Just your smile and maybe your camera!
Any pre-tasting advice? -- Maybe. Make sure you don't brush your teeth right before the tasting, that would limit your perceptions and pleasure in drinking wine!
What's your tipping policy? -- Tipping is not mandatory at all. Yet, if you are satisfied with the service provided, your host will be pleased to accept your tip. The Wine Tastings are not "service compris" (as restaurants are, for instance).
